Treatment of a canine patient implies having a working understanding of dog behaviour, body language and typical gestures. This dynamic and engaging study explains canine instinctual and learned behaviours. Students examine both internal and external factors that may lead to abnormalities. At the end of the study students learn how to prevent and manage canine aggression in healthcare practice, as well as how to communicate with dogs of with different breeds and temperaments.
